When we arrived, there was a long process of gathering, weighing, and sorting the food before the food could be packaged for those who need it. It was 143 pounds in total, a lot more than I was expecting.

The Note
Hello
Neighbors!
My
name is Benjamin *******. I live here in ****** and am in *** grade at ****** School. I am doing a service project for my
Civics class and I decided to do a food drive benefiting the Manatee County Food Bank. I will be collecting non-perishable, unopened cans
and boxed food from today, Sunday April 13th through
Thursday, April 18th. We will deliver the food the next
day in hopes of helping a few more families enjoy a Easter dinner.
If
you would like to donate, you can drop off items in the box on the
front porch of our house at:
***********
Thank
you for helping me feed hungry kids and families in Manatee County
and thank you for helping me with my service project!

The Bags
This picture is from before we went to hang bags on doors, there were a lot of bags.
These two pictures show me putting the bags onto doors.
